So it is getting down to the wire when it comes to the big move at the end of the month…I have fonally started to pack more stuff and I am going nuts!!! I am slowly running out of space (in a place where there wasn’t much space to begin with).

I know all I would have to do is start putting all the boxes in the storage area (or the suggestion of storage) so I can free up some space, but believe it or not there is a method to the madness. I (by I I mean me and Jaclyn) figure if we have all of our shit out and someone comes to look at the place they have to deal with it.

So the big plan is to load up the truck on the 29th and be completely out on that night so when the cleaner comes to do the “move out” clean she can do what she has to do. I think Jac has reserved a 17 foot trailer for the big day so that should be enough space for everything. Worse case we can grab her dads truck and move some of the stuff into his garage for a few days until the big day.

It really isn’t the boxes that we are concerned with when it comes to the Uhaul. Basically if all I can get into the truck is our big stuff I will deal with the small stuff with Jacs dads truck.

Notice anything???

Odds are you do not see it but for me this is yet another turning point when it comes to little Oliver. Tonight is the first night that we do not have him wrapped up like a mummy.

I thought trying this out tonight would be a good idea because it is Saturday night and I do not have to work in the morning. Of course since this is the first night doing this we (ok Jaclyn) had a hell of a fight getting him down. I think it was more of a chore than normal is because Oliver is not used to having his arms free so he can get into a little mischief (like constantly pulling out his soother).

Also we decided that it would be a good idea to have his hands covered for the first little bit so he does not hurt himself in the night. Of course I do know that this is going to get easier over the next few weeks and we will not have to do the wrapping of the hands.

We are also moving out at the end of the month to a bigger place!!! I am so happy we got the place that we got because it is bigger and we are only a 10 minute walk from Jacs dads place. One thing that sort of suck balls is that the 1st of March falls on a Thursday and we are not able to get into it until noon. Since it is during the week what we are going to do is move our stuff into the garage at Jacs dads and when we are able to get in we will only have to drive like a minute down the street instead of a 20 to 30 minute trip.

So now it is time for me to hit the sack since I do have to go and do the laundry in the morning. One thing that totally sucks balls is that since my car is in the shop Jac has to drive me and pick me up. More of a pain than I would like on a Sunday but what can you do?
